Golspie Gala Week 2026 runs from Saturday 1st August to the 8th August. Events take place across the full seven days, with the main programme on the weekend days.

Accessibility
Most events are accessible for wheelchair users and those with mobility needs. The Golspie Gala Marquee and Village Hall both have level access. Contact us in advance for specific requirements.
Very limited parking is available at the Banger Derby and it is on a first come, first served basis.

July in Sutherland can be glorious or unpredictable — sometimes both in the same afternoon. Bring a waterproof layer and enjoy the Highland weather whatever it brings!

What does the £3 programme include?
The digital programme gives you full access to the event schedule, interactive venue map, event descriptions and timings, and any updates we post during the week. It works on any device and your access lasts the full season.
Do I need to pay to attend the events themselves?
The programme fee is separate from event entry. Most Gala Week events are free. A small number — the ceilidh, golf tournament, and some evening entertainment — have their own entry charge, detailed on the Events page.
I've paid but can't access the programme. What do I do?
Visit the main page and click "Already paid? Restore access" — enter the email address you used for payment and your access will be restored. If you're still having trouble, contact us directly.
Can I volunteer to help at Gala Week?
